Biography

Moustafa Shahin, a smart grid and sustainable energy expert, possesses over 20 years of experience in the utility industry and higher education in Energy Engineering. Currently serving as an adjunct lecturer and industrial advisory board member at Heriot-Watt University, he brings in-depth practical knowledge of smart grid technologies, DER integration, EV charging infrastructure, AMI, OT/IT integration, and SCADA-ADMS.

Moustafa has a proven track record, having successfully led large-scale smart grid projects in over 3500 distribution substations.
